Compliance & Methodology

Last updated: August 2026

We publish job listings, message caregivers who apply to our clients, and handle applicant data. Each of those is regulated, and each is somewhere a home care agency can be hurt by a vendor cutting corners. This page documents exactly how we work, so an owner — or their attorney — can check it before signing anything.

Job Postings: Accurate, Current, and the Client's Own

Google's job listing policies require that structured data describe a real, currently open role and match what a candidate sees on the page. We build to that standard:

  • Real roles only. We publish openings the agency has confirmed are live. We do not create evergreen "always hiring" listings to farm applicants, and we do not post roles for one location and route applicants to another.
  • Markup matches the page. Title, pay, shift, location and requirements in the JSON-LD are the same ones a caregiver reads. Structured data that contradicts the visible page is a policy violation and gets a site demoted, not promoted.
  • Filled roles come down. When a position closes we remove it and let validThrough expire the same day. Stale listings waste caregivers' time and are the most common reason a listing that once appeared quietly stops.
  • Published on the client's own domain. The job pages belong to the agency. If the relationship ends, the pages and the markup stay with them.

Sourcing: Neutral Criteria, No Protected-Class Targeting

We reach caregivers through community groups, professional networks and job platforms. Where a community is also an ethnic or national-origin community, the distinction that matters is between where a message is placed and who is eligible. Screening criteria are always job-related and neutral: certification, availability, radius, transport, experience. We place the same caregiver opening widely — church and community groups, nursing-school alumni networks, diaspora professional associations, Indeed, Facebook groups — and every one of those placements links to the same posting, open to anyone who meets the same criteria. We never advertise a role as being for or preferring people of a particular national origin, race, religion, sex, age or immigration status, and we never build screening rules on those attributes. Ads that state such a preference violate Title VII and the equivalent state rules regardless of intent — and the exposure lands on the agency, not the vendor.

Applicant Messaging (TCPA / CTIA / 10DLC)

  • Consent is captured at the point of application: the caregiver enters their own number on the agency's application form, next to plain language saying they may be texted about the role. We message no one else. No purchased, rented or scraped lists, ever — clients warrant the same in their agreement.
  • SMS traffic is registered with US carriers via The Campaign Registry (A2P 10DLC) under the agency's own brand and EIN. Messages go out on the agency's behalf and identify the agency by name in the first message.
  • Every sequence includes opt-out language. STOP is honored instantly, permanently and across every sequence.
  • Quiet hours are enforced server-side in the recipient's timezone: nothing sends before 8am or after 9pm local.
  • Every message in and out is logged with timestamp, recipient, content and delivery status, retained four years as a defense file.
  • The applicant picks the channel and the language. Anyone who prefers a phone call over texting, or Spanish over English, says so and the sequence follows — the voice on the other end is the applicant's choice, not our default.
  • An applicant always reaches a person on request. The AI Recruiter identifies itself as an automated assistant and hands off — it never claims to be a human.

Reviews: Everyone Is Asked, No Gating

The AI Review Engine asks working caregivers and family clients for reviews on Google and Indeed. The same request goes to everyone in scope:

  • No gating. We never route unhappy people to a private form while sending happy ones to Google. An unhappy reply is escalated to the owner so it can be fixed — then that person is asked exactly like everyone else.
  • No incentives, gifts or payments in exchange for a review.
  • No fake, purchased or AI-written reviews. We never write review text for anyone. Google and Indeed — not us — control publication and removal.

This follows Google's review policies and the FTC Rule on Consumer Reviews and Testimonials (16 CFR Part 465).

Data, Processing Location & Subprocessors

We handle applicant data — name, contact details, certifications, availability — and operational data from your profiles. We do not need, ask for, or accept protected health information about your clients, and no part of our service requires access to a care record. Our team works from Lagos, Nigeria; that processing location is disclosed up front and covered by a written data-processing agreement that names the systems we touch, our security controls, retention and deletion terms, and breach notification timelines. Subprocessors are Twilio (messaging), Google (Business Profile and Indexing APIs), Anthropic (drafting), Resend (email) and Vercel (hosting). Details in our Privacy Policy; your data is exportable within 30 days of termination.

What We Guarantee — and What We Won't

  • Guaranteed: your roles pass Google's Rich Results Test as valid JobPosting within 7 days of go-live, or we work free until they do and refund the first month. Listings kept fresh monthly, or that month is waived.
  • Never guaranteed: a number of hires, applicants or panel ranking positions. We don't control your pay rate, your interview process, your local labour market, or Google's ranking. A vendor who guarantees hires is either guessing or planning to blame you.
  • Reported honestly: we report applications and time-to-first-contact rather than Search Console job impressions, because Google confirmed a logging error affecting job listing impression and click data from 16 April 2026 onward. We won't bill you against a number we know is broken.

Verify Us

Ask us to run Google's Rich Results Test on your job URLs on the call — it's public, free, and either reports a valid JobPosting or doesn't. Our Terms of Service and SMS Consent Policy bind us to what's on this page. Questions or a compliance concern: hello@dependifyllc.com.
