How many applicants are hired before you call back?

A caregiver applies to five agencies in one sitting. The first credible reply gets the interview. This scorecard models what your current response time is doing to the applicants you already paid to attract.

Rough numbers are fine — the pattern is what matters

Not sure how long first contact takes? That's the point of the audit — with your permission we apply as a candidate and report the exact number back to you.

How we know your real number

We ask permission to apply to one of your open roles as a candidate, then report the exact time to first human contact. In audits we've run, next-day is normal — one came back at 28 hours and 26 minutes. It's never the office manager's fault; they were on a client call when the application landed.

What the model assumes

That caregivers apply to several agencies at once and accept the first credible offer — so roughly 4% of an applicant pool is lost per hour of delay after the first, capped at 80%. Recovered applicants are converted at your own hire rate, not an optimistic one. It's a model of a known pattern, not a measurement of your agency.
